Nortel BCM (Business
Communications Manager)
50 is an all-in-one, affordable platform for converged
voice and data communications for small to medium
business with 3 to 20 stations, yet scalable to serve
more than 40. With an easy-to-use and highly flexible
architecture, the Nortel BCM 50 enables small business
to benefit from convergence capabilities which were
previously only available to much larger organizations. |

is the answer from Nortel Networks to the small VoiP
phone system question.

can be expanded by use of BCM 50 expansion cabinets
and media bay modules.
- It's
expansion cabinet is actually an empty module and
the under side accepts any of the BCM media bay
modules.
- It
is sizable to 4 phone lines and 12 phones.
- It
allows small offices to migrate to IP communications
and add further applications as needed.
- It
uses voice over ip for both IP Trunking and IP
phones.
- It
can be expanded by using BCM 50 expansion cabinets
